(Made-to-order) NO 2. FATHER SKY: CASHMERE HOODED CROP TOP

This cashmere crop top was designed by Khat Zorig for our "No 2. Father Sky" short film and made by one of the best cashmere makers in Mongolia. According to Mongolian creation stories, Father Sky is the creator of the universe. The Earth (Mother Earth) and Father Sky are often depicted as the parents of all beings. These two forces are seen as complementary, working together to maintain the balance of the cosmos. 

The pattern on the top was inspired by the "Lines of Non-extension spacesuit" design originally created Arthur Iberall of Rand Corporation in 1947 and later improved by Dava Newman (Professor at MIT) in 2007 as captured in the pictures at the bottom.

CARE GUIDE

Dry cleaning is recommended, but you can hand wash knitted cashmere with care. It is recommended to clean it after 10 wears.

For hand washing: add gentle detergent to lukewarm water. Soak your cashmere for 15 minutes. Rinse the cashmere in clean lukewarm water. Lightly roll your cashmere in a towel and squeeze the water out without wringing it. Lay flat to dry.
