NO 3. PRICE REVOLUTION

This is our 3rd short film that is helping us world-build towards the feature length film named ZORIG that we're planning to release in 2027. This short, along with the first 2 shorts, is playing only at Triton Museum of Arts until January 28, 2025

Set in future Mongolia, the last bastion of natural resources in an era of AI and climate change, this video revisits the protagonist from 'No 2. Father Sky.' A lowly miner exchanges her labor and natural resources for water—the era's currency—to sustain her village. Her diminishing returns echo historical patterns that have shaped civilizations for millennia. This narrative draws parallels to Mongolia's current resource struggles and the 16th-17th century Price Revolution in Europe, exploring timeless themes of wealth disparity and resource valuation.

Coat: The featured coat, designed by Khat, handcrafted in Mongolia with 100% local wool with traditional buttons and collar, symbolizes the character's evolution towards rebellion against exploitation.

Shoes: The feature shoes are part of an upcoming collection of three pairs of bespoke shoes designed by Kyle, who has exclusively worn his handcrafted footwear for over a decade. Evolving from his early leather designs, these examples demonstrate innovation through waterproof, breathable 4-way stretch knit fabric atop 3D printed TPU foam soles.

NO 2. FATHER SKY

According to Mongolian creation stories, Father Sky is the creator of the universe. The Earth (Mother Earth) and Father Sky are often depicted as the parents of all beings. These two forces are seen as complementary, working together to maintain the balance of the cosmos.

The reverence for the blue sky is paramount in Mongolian culture, symbolizing purity, eternity, and the father of all. The traditional Mongolian dwelling, the ger (also known as a yurt), has a circular opening at the top, known as the toono, which is always left open to honor Father Sky. The Eternal Blue Sky (Möngke Tengri) is often personified and is associated with the fate of individuals and nations.

The Great Mongol Empire's founder, Chinggis Khan, is said to have been appointed by Tenger to unite the world under one sky, and his destiny was believed to be ordained by this sky deity. Read more about Genghis Khan below.

This video includes a leather jacket and a cashmere bodysuit inspired by a spacesuit designed by Khat Zorig and handmade in Mongolia.

Feel the power of Father Sky within you, and embody your love of humanity and nature like Father Sky.

NO 1. MOTHER EARTH

This dress was handmade by the descendants of the Mongolian queens who once ruled the biggest empire in history from the Yellow Sea to the Caspian Sea (China and Russia combined). They embodied Mother Earth as true servants to their people, leaders of the empire that defined the nucleus of inclusive universal culture and world system (free commerce, open communication, shared knowledge, secular politics, religious coexistence, diplomatic immunity), master organizers of the moving empire, warriors, and scholars.

Feel the power of Mother Earth within you, and embody your love of humanity and nature like Mother Earth.
